精品推荐—金本位孙小头银币

民国二十一年（1932年）国民政府推行新式货币制度，仍采纳甘末尔氏的金本位币制，欲全国实施，仍命当时之中央造币厂（即今上海造币厂）试铸第一套金本位。其中面值分为壹圆、半圆、贰角、壹角四种为银质。半毫、贰仙二种面值为镍质。壹仙面值为黄铜。以此形成一整套的金本位币钱币家族。

金本位币半圆原本设计与后来的量产船洋相似，惟国民政府以青天白日为国民党徽，欲将之镂刻于币面，因此加上旭日与象征三民主义的三只海鸥；又因财政部要求将金本位字样标示其上，故再将海鸥移到水面。也就是说，船洋各式币问世之顺序，恰与原始设计之构思相反。后国民政府在民国廿二年正式公布“废两改元”的银本位币制，发行剔除金本位币字样、俗称“三鸟”的半圆银币。（世华）

金本位币银质样币设计为正面孙中山肖像，采用民国十八年帆船银币意大利版之孙中山侧面像，背面图案则采用中央造币厂美籍总技师赫维特（CLIFFORDHEWITT）设计的双桅帆船，航行于海上，船右侧东升旭日，水波纹上有三鸟飞翔，上边金本位币半圆，整体构图精美非常。其铸币模具则委请美国费城造币厂总雕刻师辛诺克（JOHNSINNOCK）担纲雕制，在中央造币厂（今上海造币厂）铸造。近日，有幸得见壹枚银元精品：民国二十一年金本位币。中华民国二十一年孙中山像金本位币壹圆银币的正面为孙中山侧面肖像，背面为双帆船航行于海面，上环“金本位币半元”六字。
